Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MilestoneMaster LLC ("MilestoneMaster," "we," "us") governing your use of the MilestoneMaster app and milestonemasterapp.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, matching our Privacy Policy. If the age of majority in your jurisdiction is higher than 18, you must meet that higher age instead — MilestoneMaster is not available to minors under any circumstances, including with parental or guardian consent.

2. The Service

MilestoneMaster helps you set and track goals, and includes an AI-powered "Coach" that offers goal-setting guidance and encouragement. The Coach is not a medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other licensed professional, and nothing it says is professional advice. See our Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer for more.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and billing

MilestoneMaster offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" plan. Pro is billed at $9.99 USD per month (monthly only), and automatically renews at the then-current price until you cancel. Prices may vary in your local currency and are set by Google Play.

All purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled entirely by Google Play (or Apple's App Store on iOS) as your payment processor — not by MilestoneMaster directly. To cancel, go to your Google Play subscriptions page; canceling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. Refunds are granted solely at Google's (or Apple's) discretion under their own refund policies.

If your Pro subscription ends, your account and data are kept, but if you have more than 3 active goals, we'll archive the oldest ones beyond 3 (they're restorable if you resubscribe).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for anything illegal; attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; use the Coach to seek help planning harm to yourself or others, or other content our safety systems flag as abusive; or interfere with other users' use of the Service. Repeated violations may pause or suspend your access to the Coach, or your account entirely.

6. Your content

You own the goals, entries, and messages you create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a license to store, process, and transmit Your Content as needed to provide the Service — including sending relevant parts of it to our AI provider to generate Coach replies, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it with us.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the MilestoneMaster name and logo, is owned by MilestoneMaster LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE COACH'S OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SITUATION.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILESTONEMASTER LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

11. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms. We may also modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing us. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, you and MilestoneMaster agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and each of us waives any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. This doesn't apply to small-claims court cases or either party's right to seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property.
